Café Ami – Vancouver General Hospital

The first Café Ami at Vancouver General Hospital was established in 1993, and was a collaborative effort with the Hospital Executive to design and operate a contemporary coffee/food bar that would provide an alternative to the existing cafeteria services. Originally located in the lobby of the Centennial Pavilion, our location moved in 1996 to just inside the front entrance of the Jim Pattison Pavilion.

Our comfortable environment, great service and fresh coffee along with varied food selections provide the staff, patients and visitors of VGH with a highly convenient, high quality on-site service, which meet their needs and time constraints.

As such, Cafe Ami VGH has become a popular hub within the Hospital. Our goal is to continually provide great service with the best choice of product, at a reasonable price, in a clean, relaxed environment to all patrons and guests of the Hospital.

We also offer catering services throughout the Hospital and to VGH’s on-site neighbouring buildings. See our menu and catering form for more information.
